Churchill Downs Fall Season : Races to Consider
Iroquois Stake is a Grade III event whose winner gets ten valuable points in determining which horses make it to next year’s Kentucky Derby. Naturally it is for two year olds and it is that 1 1/16 mile race length which is ideal for judging how they will handle next year. Our attention is at Lookin at Lee. This horse is coming into its own as of late. He did not do so well in his first ever race which was at this venue. However coming off of two consecutive wins, this outweighs the fifth he had in the past.
That Open Mind
Female horses have the Open Mind $100,000 race to run for over the course of six furlongs. Here we have a defending champion coming back to roost in this one. Spelling again is her name and she has done well in races of note on her resume. A combination that is generating buzz is what happens when you have one of the hottest jockeys handling a horse that has not raced in competition for almost a year? Unbridaled Explosion is the horse with Florent Geroux guiding her. This has the feast or famine look to it. Bet to win but do not include in boxing exactas as this goes right into the high fluctuation with this pick on Saturday.
Now we have Saratoga closing but the New York crowd has moved to Belmont. Kentucky racing is back for the fall at Churchill Downs. These are just two of the many stellar tracks being put to use for our profit this weekend. Good fortune in your ventures and we will see you next time here at APEX Horse Betting.
