Pletcher watches Carpe Diem gallop at Keeneland

Lexington, KY (SportsNetwork.com) – Blue Grass Stakes winner Carpe Diem went
to the track at Keeneland Thursday morning with trainer Todd Pletcher
watching.

Pletcher, who came over from Churchill Downs, watched as Carpe Diem galloped 1
1/2 miles around Keeneland’s main track with exercise rider Patti Krotenko
aboard.

“He seemed to be moving really well; he was happy,” Pletcher said. “All signs
were very good.”

Carpe Diem, owned by WinStar Farm and Stonestreet Stables, will be ridden by
Hall of Fame jockey John Velazquez in the Kentucky Derby on May 2. The colt
began his 2015 season with a win in the Tampa Bay Deby in February.
