Offshore is Greater than OTB

Horse racing has progressed through out the ages in both weather detection and wagering options.  Old days like the 1970’s had us sometimes being very surprised with the weather that could spring up in Maryland. Look at what was waiting for an 11 to 10 favorite like Sunny’s Halo when the mud plummeted him to sixth after winning the Derby a scant two weeks earlier.

Thank you to Horse Racing on Youtube for posting this

The advancements in most facets of horse racing have come a long way.  We know farther ahead of time what waits us weather wise.  Also Off Track Betting has been surpassed by Americas Bookie and other sportsbooks in wagering aspects for horse racing.  Streetbettings.com has an in depth discussion about the perks of using a quality sportsbook.  Finally, the broadcast will be in crystal clarity even if the outcome for this one is up in the air.

Pimlico Dirt

There is a reason why this site attracts all the big names only once a year.  The dirt they use has the habit of overholding moisture.  So horses that are mudders love the chance element of this track for all the rain this site gets.  Now most of the high priced blood lines do not have a mudder in it.  Nyquist does not and has gone out of his way to avoid the slop.  He went to the Florida Derby instead of Santa Anita to race.  Exaggerator has a good win in the muck and mire.  Both he and Nyquist drew inside post positions but with the much smaller field, neither horse should be packed in for this one.

So reviewing what we know.  Horses that have mudders in their linage include :

  • Uncle Lino
  • Cherry Wine
  • Fellowship

Abiding Star (30-1) has had a good win in the mud.  He might be good for the lower end of exotics wagering.  Finally, if ever Exaggerator is to beat Nyquist it is in this element.  Good fortune with your wagering at America’s Bookie and we will see you next time here at APEX Horse Betting.
