Vyjack and Micromanage to engage in Queens County

Ozone Park, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Vyjack and Micromanage head a field of 10
for Saturday’s $100,000 Queens County Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack.

Vyjack and Micromanage, both 4-year-olds, will be facing one another for a
second time this year in Saturday’s 1 1/8-mile stakes as each of their 2014
campaigns come to a close. They raced against each other in this year’s
Suburban Handicap at Belmont Park on July 5 when Vyjack was eased and
Micromanage finished seventh behind Zivo.

Vyjack will break from post 4 with Irad Ortiz Jr. again riding and
Micromanage will have Manuel Franco in the saddle and start from post 6.

Trained by Rudy Rodriguez, Vyjack is coming off a fifth in the Cigar Mile at
Aqueduct on Nov. 29, two months after winning the Kelso Handicap at Belmont
Park. The gelding, owned by Pick Six Racing, regrouped after the Suburban with
a fourth in the Vanderbilt and a third in the Forego.

Vyjack has earned $917,500 from 15 career starts and six wins.

Micromanage, owned by Repole Stable and trained by Todd Pletcher, will be
making his 11th start this year with wins in the Skip Away at Gulfstream Park
in March and the Birdstone in August at Saratoga. The colt is coming off a
10th at Aqueduct four weeks ago in the Red Smith Handicap on grass and a month
earlier was third in Belmont’s Bowling Green.

Micromanage has five wins, four seconds and five thirds from 22 lifetime
starts for $641,881.

In last year’s Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park, Micromanage finished
third with Vyjack in sixth.

Here is the field for the Queens County in post position order: Elnaawi, Angel
